The time has come...........

It appears that spring has finally decided to hang around for a few months. What that means to me is that it is time to pack up and get out! I have waited for this since our last trip to Grandfather Mtn. You remember.......the night we camped and it got down to 27 degrees. Sure, thats not all that cold really but getting through the night is the easy part, getting up in the morning is the hard part. Brrrrrr, no fire, frost everywhere! I'm ready to do it again! This weekend the plan is to head down to Pisgah Forest and set up camp somewhere and spend the weekend doing what we ( Kim and I) do best. Everything is starting to bud and signs of new life are all around. Looking out the window is over and done with, it's time to get out there and make some tracks! I got a new backpack, new sleeping bag, new tent and a new spirit to go along with all that. Of course there will be pictures to post and stories to go along with them as soon as we get back and calm down enough to write about it. So........basically the plan is.......well, there is no plan other than get there and enjoy! The plan will manifest itself when the time comes. Think God for spring!
